Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja in Love Story 2050

From stepping into Kareena Kapoor's shoes for Harman Baweja's first appearance medium Love Story 2050, to letting him control the attention at the film's music launch, Priyanka Chopra has been quite satisfied with staying on the sidelines as far as this beginner is concerned. But, recently when asked about what kind of a relationship she shares with Harman, Priyanka smiled and said that it's definitely a lovely relationship!
Priyanka was always seen next to him, often whispering bits of advice to a nervous Harman as he spoke to the media. She said that she has known Harman for nearly five years now. She has seen him growing and becoming more confident with every passing day. Even during the shooting of Love Story 2050, she saw him change into an actor in front of her. He is very talented. When quizzed about her disinclination at admitting their relationship in public, Priyanka laughed and said that she was talking about him right that time. Priyanka said that ever since her return from Miami, she has been so busy with shooting that she did not have the time to go out at all. Harman's kitty is also full and he is shooting three films back-to-back.
How does she react to Harman being constantly compared to Hrithik? Reportedly she was very irritated at comparison. Priyanka denied the story and said that she thinks that every actor is compared with someone or the other. When Hrithik made his debut, he was compared to Shah Rukh Khan while SRK himself was compared to Dilip Kumar. We have to accept it and move on. Eventually, we all make our own space. She is sure that Harman will, as well.

Bhansali remaking Charulata of Satyajit Ray

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has already insulted the deep feelings of Bengalis once with his overemotional version of Sharat Chandra Chatterjee's quiet classic, Devdas. Now it is heard that he is planning to remake Satyajit Ray's Charulata, starring Soumitra Chatterjee and Madhabi Mukherjee. The director registered the title of Charulata in August 2007, with the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association. Bhansali has an attraction for highly emotional subjects like these and Charulata has a huge potential of being remade in today's time. Only, will he turn Soumitra Chatterjee and Madhabi Mukherjee's quiet romance into a high-pitched drama? However, there is another contender for the same subject. Amitabh Neil Ray also wants to remake Charulata and has planned to title the film, Charu: Unspoken. Ray, supposedly, wants to make a modern version of the film and wants to set the film in America. Even as Bhansali and Ray aim to remake the film, Satyajit Ray who made the film in 1964 had felt that Charulata was his best work and there was no need for him to remake the film. The film won Ray his second Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Fest in 1964. The original Charulata was based on a story written by Rabindranath Tagore and starred Bengali actors like Madhabi Mukherjee and Soumitra Chatterjee

Ayesha Takia doing catapult scene in De Taali

It seems that if there is any thing, which Ayesha Takia would want to forget, it's the catapult scene she shot for De Taali in Auckland. The actress had to shoot for a scene, which required her to be in a three-seater catapult at a great height, along with co-actors Ritesh Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani.
But as Ayesha fears heights, she kept refusing to do the scene. Eventually, Ritesh and Aftab managed to persuade her into doing it, but Ayesha soon realised that she was in for more than what she had bargained for. In fact, according to Aftab, Ayesha was fooled into it. Ayesha simply wouldn't do it. So they told her that they are not taking the shot. They convinced her that let's just strap us and sit. When the catapult began, she started screaming uncontrollably. Their eardrums almost went bust! The shot, which is retained in this film, is the real moment.
Ayesha found it difficult to turn down the crowd that was cheering and egging her on, along with her co-stars who were urging her too. Ayesha said that it became a matter of pride for her, so she gave in. She thought that she was going to die; she’ll regret that for the rest for of her life.
As if that was not all, they were later required to bungee jump from a height of 300 meters. Wiser from her earlier experience, Ayesha firmly put her foot down and declined to jump. She told the director that she will surely die if she does that and his film will be trapped. He changed his mind and she was saved.

Aamna Shariff featuring in Aloo Chat with Aftab

While Rajeev Khandelwal is busy these days shooting for his upcoming film Aamir, his co-actress from the hit television series Kahin Toh Hoga, Aamna Shariff isn’t far behind and is following Rajeev’s footsteps. With Rajeev making his Bollywood debut in June, Aamna is ready to follow it up in August. And like Rajeev, Aamna too claimed to have quit television to follow her dreams of doing films.
As we all know Aamna Shariff is a big name on the Indian television and had become hugely popular with her show Kahin Toh Hoga from the Balaji telefilms. The girl, who was said to be the Madhuri Dixit of the small screen for her smile and looks, will venture into Bollywood with a film titled Aloo Chaat. She has been paired opposite Aftab Shivdasani and Robby Grewal directs the film.
All the outfits that Aamna wore in her television show were huge hits with the audiences and became quite a trend in the market. With her good looks and acting abilities, it was but obvious that Aamna was eyeing Bollywood for quite some time now. And though she was bombarded with film offers; she was waiting for that one right project.
The opportunity came with Aloo Chaat from the banner of Maverick Productions headed by actor-producer Anuj Saxena. Anuj said that the on-screen chemistry between Aftab and Aamna is simply superb and has to be seen to be believed. They suit the roles perfectly. Aloo Chaat is co-produced by Mirchi Movies. The film’s principle shooting has been completed and is currently in the post-production stage.
Another person who is quite excited about the project is actor Aftab Shivdasani. This is his solo hero project after a long time and he is looking forward to it. Also with the positive response to his other film De Taali, he only expects that things get better.
